Travel Vaccinations

flight_and_luggage

When booking an appointment for your travel vaccinations please inform the receptionist where you are going. This will enable the nurse to research what vaccinations you may need and order them in if necessary so that they are available for your appointment. Some travel vaccinations need to be given a certain length of time before you travel and more than one dose may need to be given at certain intervals.

For this reason, we ask that you book your travel vaccinations at least 6 weeks before your trip. You will be given a form by reception to fill in and return before your appointment.

Please note that we cannot give travel vaccinations to temporary residents as we do not have your medical record.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
